Having obtained qualifications in nutrition and racing as a competitive cyclist, Harvey looks to apply science behind the nutritional guidance he gives and the exercises he prescribes in order to achieve the maximum benefits for fitness and health ambitions, whether it be weight loss, weight management or training throughout the year.
Fitness, training and weight loss are a unique and personal journey. Fitness covers multiple disciplines such as weight training, cardiovascular exercise and rehabilitation. Exercise offers multiple benefits to the millions who undertake its challenge on a regular basis, such as improved sleep, improved cognitive function, lower risk of heart disease and reduced blood pressure.
I gained ISRM BTEC level 5 Diploma in Clinical Sports and Remedial Massage at Cambridge School of Sports Massage (CSSM), which is one of the highest qualifications that can be attained within the field of Sport and Remedial Massage Therapy. This enabled me to gain expertise beyond general massage techniques
I am also a member of the Institute of Sport and Remedial Massage (ISRM) and registered to practice as a Soft Tissue Therapist.
I have always had an Interest in musculoskeletal and sports injury and as a former athlete myself I understand the need and benefit of regular soft tissue therapy to maintain and get back to your active lifestyle.
I am very passionate and enthusiastic about helping others. Whether this be helping an elite athlete to improve their performance or helping someone overcome muscle aches and pains to improve their quality of life.
